Bayshore Inn & Spa, Waterton Park

My stay at this heritage park was a true escape into nature. The environment was incredibly healing, and the atmosphere left me feeling rejuvenated. I absolutely loved the hiking trails and indulging in their delicious macaroni and truffle cheese. However, my previous experience with another hotel in the area was a huge letdown due to misleading offers and heavy construction noise. This experience reminded me how vital it is to choose a calming location to fully enjoy your time away from home.

I had a pleasant stay overall at this older hotel with inviting updated rooms and a charming outdoor deck. While the beds were comfortable, there were some noise issues and outdated features that detracted from the experience. The staff truly went above and beyond to accommodate us, making my time here enjoyable despite small hiccups during my stay.

The hotel offers a fantastic location with spacious rooms featuring a lovely lake view balcony, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. The cleanliness of the bathroom and the quality of the bedding were commendable. However, the service could use some improvement, and amenities like a microwave or kettle would enhance the experience. Considering the price, I felt it was a bit high for the age and limited offerings of the hotel.

We had a pretty nice time at this motel, which does feel more like a quaint lodge by the lake. The rooms were clean and spacious, accommodating our needs well, but the high nightly rate felt a bit steep for the amenities provided. We loved being lakeside with views, but the lack of communal seating areas and additional charges were a letdown. Overall, a delightful visit, yet potentially better accommodations can be found a short distance away.
